Tadob Serene

Tadoba Serene Stay is a Resort near Tadoba Tiger reserve in Maharashtra India

In 1955, the Tadoba forest (116.54 sq.km.) was declared a national park. In 1986, the adjacent Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary was created and in 1995, the park and the sanctuary was combined to create the present Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve covering an area of 625.4 sq. km. making it India’s largest reserve forest.

The southern dry-tropical Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a thick forest comprising a variety of trees, bushes, bamboo and grass.

It is home to several species of animals including Indian leopards, sloth bears, jungle cats, sambar deer, barking deer, chital, chausingha, gaur, nilgai, dhole, and hyena. The reptiles include pythons, Russel’s viper, Indian monitor lizard and cobra. The reserve is home to more than 190 species of birds. There is also a large lake which populates the marsh crocodile.

However, the most popular inhabitant of Tadoba is undoubtedly the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a hugely popular tourist destination with over 40 lakh tourists visiting it and the nearby forests annually. This makes the vicinity around Tadoba a highly profitable zone for Resorts, Hotels and Apartment Hotels.
